“Hate it” - Thank you
I realize you may “hate it” and may I invite you to say Thank You.
It is rare I experience the feeling of hate. In full transparency there have been moments when the feeling was present. It is like a fury button is pressed within my being. Immediately, I want justice and for the pain to go away or the circumstance to change. If there were only a lamp to rub on for a genie to appear and grant my wishes. We all know that's fantasy. In reality and what we call life, I would think it's safe to say there are those things that either trigger us to a feeling of hate or to stand somewhere close by the emotion.
What is hate? According to a quick Google search hate is defined as follows:
noun: hate
intense or passionate dislike.
There is more I could say here, but I want to focus on the solution and the “higher vibe” frequency we can tap into.
In a recent conversation with a friend, she was describing to me an uncomfortable change one of her loved ones is embarking on. The loved one said to my friend, “I hate it”. My friend said to her loved one, “I realize you may ‘hate it’ and may I invite you to say Thank You”.
When I heard the phrase, something resonated in me. I could hear the truth and wisdom in the statement. Within nanoseconds a flashback of difficult and even unjust circumstances life had presented to me ran through my mind. Having walked through those challenges and now on the other side, I comprehend the power, healing and grace which come from the words Thank You and having gratitude in my heart. Saying Thank You while one is in and/or walking through those hard places brings shifts both inwardly and outwardly.
Maintaining gratitude in our hearts, SAYING IT OUTLOUD and WRITING IT DOWN is a game changer. At times, I crawled my may out of dealing with difficulty by writing down and saying aloud what I am grateful for. We do not always get to the point of saying thank you for the hard circumstances themselves. However, we can say thank you for even the simplest thing in our lives.
For example: Thank you for the sun shining on my face today. Thank you for the sound of a bird singing on my lanai. Thank you for the wind. Thank you for the green grass.
I believe we are able to find things in our lives to be thankful for even in the middle of the most grueling of times.
With that said I would highly recommend the book The Hidden Messages of Water by Dr. Masaru Emoto.
In his studies, Emoto found that water exposed to positive words and intentions formed beautiful, symmetrical crystalline structures when the water was frozen, while water exposed to negative words and intentions formed disorganized, asymmetrical structures.
According to some studies, the entire human body is about 66 percent water. Our bones are composed of 22 percent water, muscles are 76 percent and blood is 83 percent. Lungs are 90 percent, and our brains are 95 percent water. It is easy to see why water and hydration play such a critical role in a healthy lifestyle.
Why am I sharing this information? If we, us humans, are a large percentage of water and our words (and I would include our thoughts) have an impact on water perhaps it would behoove us to stand guard at the gate of our mouths and mind?
Whatever is happening in your world, as my friend said, may I invite you to say thank you.
Thank you to everyone who has read this.
